Video Confession Leads To Justice

A man’s confession to killing another man while driving under the influence has went viral, and has also gotten him arrested and indicted on a homicide charge. 22-year-old Matthew Cordle recently filmed himself confessing to a case previously unsolved for two months. In the video he admitted that on June 22nd, after a night of heavily drinking with friends, Matthew attempted to drive home. He swerved into the wrong lane and collided with 61-year-old Vincent Canzani, killing him instantly. He originally posted the video on a website called “Because I said I would”, which is a forum that helps people with keeping promises. While people say that Cordle made the video to try to make his sentence more lenient, Cordle’s lawyer said that leniency wasn’t the goal.
